Financial audit approaches in 2006: „We are building a strong, professional body, marked by European moral and professional values"

Abstract:
Among the most recent accomplishments, Ion Mihailescu, Ph. D., President of the Chamber, mentioned the accomplishment of a modern, interactive system of communication with the members of the Chamber, by means of the site and the review, which appears with a new look and with an enriched content, having a scientific level, as well as by direct dialogues within some thematic debates.\r\n\r\nAt present, the management of the Chamber is highly preoccupied with the reproachless organization of accessing the profession and of the National Conference, which will be held on the 6th of May, this year.\r\n\r\nAt the international level, after having obtained the status of associated member of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the Chamber takes preparative measures for being received in the European Federation of Accountants - (FEE). Also, having in view the problems discussed at the recent International Professional Seminar organized by the World Bank, the CFAR grants its attention to evolutions on the market of the profession and assuring all necessary conditions for the continuous training of Romanian professionals, so that, on the accession to the EU on the 1st of January 2007, these should totally comply with the criteria on the basis of which they can consider themselves European financial auditors.\r\n
