Abstract:
Organizations from all around the world are recording significant developments year after year. Besides, it appears a clear orientation to the centralization of the IT systems, which conducts to efficiency increasing for the provided services to the customers. Though, this conducts to the data concentration in one place, which could produce the breakdown of the entire organization, or in the best case, it could produce million dollars loss.\r\n\r\nBusiness Continuity Management represents an instrument that assists the organizations to get prepared for this kind of events, by identifying the critic processes of the business and the necessary resources for sustaining these processes, as well as defining the continuation modalities of the activity in case the resources that should sustain the processes wouldn’t be available , with the lowest costs and in the shortest term.
