Abstract:
The Unified Modeling Language (UML) has been widely accepted as the standard object-oriented (OO) modeling language for modeling the various aspects of software systems. UML represents the standard de facto visual notation for systems analysis and development of software that can be used effectively to create also the multidimensional data models. The present article approaches the object designing of the data warehouses through UML language. The article starts with a comparison between the UML class diagram and the star schema of the multidimensional model and finally generates an interesting approach of the multidimensional model of performance analysis of the economic and financial indicators and sales of products which can be easily transformed into an UML class diagram.\r\n
